This guide covers the columnar rock of Tojinbo, the sightseeing boat, Oshima Island, the old port of Mikuni and the practical details of visiting them.

The columnar rock of Tojinbo stretches along the coast for about one kilometer, so a visit here begins with a walk along the shore. The Tojinbo sightseeing boat takes about thirty minutes for one lap, which fits easily into the same morning. Admission to Tojinbo Tower is five hundred yen for adults.

On Sundays outside the winter months, the Mikuni Port Market holds a morning market from seven thirty to eleven thirty, so an early start pays off. For a longer break, POSSE COFFEE is open from nine in the morning until eight in the evening. Individual admission to the Sakai City Ryusho Museum is four hundred yen.
